Hello my name is Nathan Slusher I am from Harlan kentucky about an hour away from here. Harlan county is a small town located in south eastern kentucky It is a small coal town founded in 1819. It has a rough population of 25000. Some fun things to do in Harlan county is to Explore Kingdom Come State Park, take ATVs into the mountain and relax at martins fork lake.
I arrived at UC in fall sesmester of 2023 but took a tour of the college in the spring of 2022. I came with my high school through a program called talent search where they took us to tour different colleges and see what college worked best for us. at the time I was planing to study computer science engineering. So when I arrived my class was taken to the corel science building and we were givin info packets to see what all cumberlands offered I saw were cumberlands offered a 2 year pre engineering degree and could easily transfer to UK engineering school. I would go on to graduate high school and come to UC where i still planned to follow that path however quickly relized just how much math was involved and transfered my major over to Information technology.
My relationship to the internet is just like everyone else's. I use the internet for everything from ordering food, Playing video games, or trying to learn something I use the internet for everything. I will shamelfully admit I am on the internet to much. The internet has great impacted my life with now the introduction of ai the internet has truly changed. I no longer have scroll long webpages in order to find the Information I was looking for instead I can put the prompt into chatGPT and I can access whatever I need.
